Anny and Jim's and Aaron and Brock's

I am here at mom's helping with her recovery. It has been two weeks today since her surgery (she had a cavernous meningeoma-benign). I've been here since last Friday. It took a while driving here. I got stuck in a snow storm in Green River, WY and had to wait in a motel for two nights and one day while waiting for I 80 to open up. I'm am just glad I was in a motel and not on the road somewhere. When I first got here, mom was pretty worn out, I guess she had just started walking on her own. Since I have been here, she has improved a little each day. The last couple of days she has been able to open her eye a little, and today she was able to see clearly for a couple of seconds. Tuesday we went to get her staples out of her head and yesterday we were able to wash her hair. She looks great. She is sleeping better, not feeling as run down. She doesn't complain about being a turtle anymore. I'm so glad I was able to see her improve each day. We also stopped by and picked up Boston to bring home. Mom was ready for him again. He is sleeping on her lap in her chair right now. So cute!! I've been able to clean the house, wash towels and sheets, run some erands with her and relax and watch Full House, Family Matters, and Millionare with mom.
