Halloween

Maren has been heavily into the Rominov family from Russia.  They were all killed in the early 1900's. Disney made the movie from it... Anastasia, but her favorite sister is Maria.  She is a cutie.  We did the usual trunk or treat at the church, then Amy and I took the kids around a neighborhood for even more.

It was weird having two wards there that night, even more weird being in a different ward.

Pumpkin Carving!

Our annual pumpkin carving year at the McCrea's bringing the missionaries.  Elder Peterson and Elder Skousen.  Maren decided she wanted carve her pumpkin with her brother's name.  Elder Pollock.

Building updates

Surprise!

Paige is turning 16!  Amy asked if we could have a surprise party for her at our house.  Of course I said yes.  She came over a little early to help decorate and Sam was in charge of music selection.

She had no idea.  It was a few days before her actual birthday, so Amy thought it would be a good night.  She thought she was picking something up at our house, and since it was Wednesday night, she thought that Sam was having a YM activity at our house, with all the cars out front and everything.

They played games, played some foose ball and had a blast.  There was no school the next day, so it was a late one. :)

The Number 2 is Cool!

Jackson, Aliza, Callin, and Maddie all were  #2 for football and volleyball.  We thought that was pretty cool.  We were glad they had their shirts with them when they came to visit for the day.

Groundbreaking

Well, it really happened.  We are building a new building.  After it gets built, we will tear the old one down and put in a parking lot.  Sam is becoming partners with a couple of other dentists, Remington Townsend, and Josh Muir.  Together they have other dentists as associates and will be buying other practices as well.  Sam will be sharing the building with one of the associates that is practicing in Laurel as well that Remington owns.  It is a scary thing, but in the long run will be good.  It will be sad to see the building go, but nice to have the new one.  Hope all goes well.
