Blessing #16 Giving Talks

HE LIVES!!!

I know giving a TALK in CHURCH shouldn't be much of a BLESSING, but for this week it is.
Sunday I gave a talk about Easter (we had stake conference on Easter, so our ward celebrated it a week later). What an awesome topic, yet there are so many ways to go about it. I read many talks and articles about the subject and felt so close to my Savior. I talked and gave scriptures about the Blessings we receive from the Atonement of Jesus Christ.
SCRIPTURE/ BLESSING
  • 3rd Nephi 27:13/The Gospel
  • Moroni 7:41 /To be raised unto eternal life
  • John 8:12 /To not walk in darkness, but shall have the light of life.
  • 3rd Nephi 19:21 /The Holy Ghost
  • John 14:27 /Peace--I leave with you.
  • Mosiah 16:7-8/ The resurrection
  • 2nd Nephi 31:20 /Eternal life
  • Moroni 6:8 /Forgiveness
  • Moroni 8:17 /Charity, Everlasting love, Partakers of Salvation
  • Hebrew 12:2 /He completes our FAITH

I am very thankful for a loving Heavenly Father. I am thankful for a Brother who loved us so much that gave his life for us!

I didn't know you had to give a talk in church. As hard as it is, it is always nice to study and research a topic normally you wouldn't. Sounds like you had a great topic and did a great job. Thanks for blessing us too.

Wish I could have been there. I know that Heavenly Father is pleased when He hears His children speak about Jesus Christ and His atonement.
