Cousins Camp Montana Day 2 - Skating

I sort of missed out on this great day.

We had a little sewer problem in our basement furnace room, so I had to stay home and wait for the plumber to do his thing.

Last year's skating day was a hit, so the kids wanted to do it again.

The Roller Rink is open on Tuesdays and Thursdays in the afternoon, so this was our chance to go.

I can't believe the girls got these kids all lined up and to stay there.  It is a great picture.

It doesn't look too crowded, I'm sure they liked that.

Amy met Anny and Kass at the rink with her kids.  I believe Anny rented skates and went out with the gang.

The kids enjoy the Limbo.  Jackson looks like a pro.

I'm glad the kids had fun!  I wish I could have been there.  I did, however, get a little cleaning done while the house was empty :)

The girls went around the neighborhood and invited all the kids to their "Fun Town".

While Kass and Anny were out with the kids, I watched and held baby Cal.  Loved it!

Day 3... Cousin Camp in Utah

June 17, 2009

This was a very filled day... both  fun and spiritual.

We started the day with SUMMER BRIDGE. (how most days started)

We then proceeded to a nursing care center for a little service.  The cousins dressed in red, white and blue and did some dancing........(girls made up their own moves to "Move it Move it" (Kass is the helper) ).

The boys did a great skit they made up themselves.... Guess who.....  They asked the audience if they could guess which athlete went with which sport.  Jackson did some gymnastics moves...the other boys "tried".  Max did some great soccer moves....the other boys "tried" to get the ball from him.  Zack passed and caught the football exceptionally well while the other boys kept dropping it.  They even had a race putting the football helmet on and off.  The audience loved it and guessed right when the time came.

Aliza, Abby, Cade,  Zack and Max played some piano pieces.  Blake, Brooklyn and Bree sang their ABC's.... and at the very end all the kids sang some primary songs.  After they were done performing, they went around and shook the hands of all the older men and women there.  What a great experience for them and us as moms.  It was fabulous.

When we were done with the nursing home....we quickly went home, ate lunch, changed and went to the Oquirrh temple open house.  This was the first time my kids had a chance to go through a Temple.  They were very excited.  The kids were reverent most of the time, and loved seeing each room.  Aliza kept asking where the brides room was.  It was the last room we went through before we left.  She was in awe of it.  I'm very thankful for this opportunity.  My children now have a better understanding what the Temple is and what Sam and I do when we go.

Trina and her kids met us there as well.  We had 5 strollers, which the temple did say children and strollers welcome.... phew.... and there was a lot of getting in and out of the elevators..... but well worth the experience.

Well, if that wasn't enough.... we headed over to a skating rank in Sandy.  Trina had some free passes.... so of coarse we had to go.  The kids had a blast roller skating...

Needless to say, the kids slept well that night.
