What a privilege it was to stand and sustain our new prophet, President Thomas S. Monson, and his counselors, President Henry B. Eyring and President Dieter F. Uchtdorf. I had such a strong conviction that President Monson is our prophet. I enjoyed every bit of conference and the messages that were given. It has helped me to want to better myself.
I am thankful for a loving Heavenly Father who gives us prophets to lead and guide us.
Saturday and Sunday we enjoyed conference in our home. (Thanks to satellite dish). We received an e-mail with some kids activities and puzzles to help them listen. The girls enjoyed coloring the ties that the apostles wore and listening for church words that might be said during a talk (Bingo), Aliza got all but 3! The boys enjoyed helping each other do a word find. It took them a while, but found them all. It was wonderful to be together as a family during this time. We had cinnamon rolls for breakfast and throughout the day while listening to conference. I guess this is a tradition now, since I have made them during past conferences. Maren actually asked if we were going to have them like we did the last time. Good memory Maren!

I am glad your kids enjoyed the activity packets. It was a struggle to keep my kid's attention even with the packets. But I agree, I love the lessons taught during conference and felt the spirit.
I don't know if I am doing this right, but I am going to tag you!
Please list 50 words that describe you, Becca! Have fun!
Ditto this post, Becca. I, too, had the witness of Pres. Monson as our latter-day-prophet. Almost brings me to tears just remembering the power of that moment. My kids also enjoyed the conference packets-the tie coloring the biggest hit as well!
