52 Blessings Project

When I started blogging last year in February, I found out about the 52 Blessings Project that was going around. My friend, Cara, started this project, and I loved the idea, just felt a little behind at the time (since I barely knew about blogging anyway). So, this year I decided to do it. I know this is week #2, so I will do two blessings.
I hope some of you will do this with me, I would love to see all our different blessings.

Blessing #1

Technology

I wouldn't be sitting here, thinking about ALL my wonderful blessing, sharing them with my friends and family so they can get them instantly, without this great technology. Yes, GREAT technology.

BLESSING #2

SUNDAY DINNERS

Today I had some family (Clint & Amy and family and Jodi, Kenny, Travis and Sedley) over for a Sunday dinner. I so enjoyed having them all over for a great meal. I know this is NORMAN ROCKWELL'S --THANKSGIVING DINNER--but it also reminds me of some of my Sunday dinners growing up. Most of the time we used our nice dishes, and had a wonderful meal. I still try to do this, but when we have tons of people, we at least do paper plates for the kids. When it gets dark earlier, we occasionally have a candlelit dinner..... nice dishes, table cloth and all......the kids love it.

I've never heard of the 52 blessings project. What a great idea. I love your family dinner blessing. I have similar feelings of mine. I think your family was a lot like mine. I love looking at your blog!! Thanks for helping me get started.

I'm so glad you are doing the 52 blessings project! I don't think I finished last year, so I will have to add a few more this year!
Great blessings! Especially when we were able to use three laptops at your house, love it!

Those were fun Sundays for me, too, and we usually had some guests to help us eat our pot roasts or chicken, etc. We ate in the dining room on our $12 dining room set from the 11th ward auction. So happy that you feel it is important to the family to have nice sit down dinners. This is a casual world we live in these days.
