Wenesday July 5th, 1978

Today we got bake from the ranch it was pretty boring up thare because it raind all the time one time Kathryn, Dad, me, Joy and Jerry whent moter bike ridding and we fell and I scrached my hand we were gonna go down the river but it rained to much we stayed thair for 5 days and it was fun me and Jennifer had to blue chars and we had a good time.
(have no idea what that last part meant)

That was so hard to type those misspelled words, punctuation, and the wrong capitalizations on purpose. I know I'm not the best, but how embarrassing. Just remember, I was 9 years old!

These entries are funny. I can barely remember these fun times. Pole, pen and Reb huh? At least Kass' name stuck. The good old ranch. I sure miss those days.

I love the nicknames. How crazy that my name stuck & how fortunate that your names didn't. he he

Hey, it is fantastic that you even kept a journal at that age. Maybe your mother was pushing journals at the time. You think? Thanks for being an obedient child.
