Family Prayer

Usually,  during our morning family prayers, the kids pray that they will do good in school, that dad will be safe at work, and mom will do whatever she does at home.   This morning, while Aliza was praying, she prayed for the kids at school and for Dad and Mom at work.  That was the first time it was said in the last three weeks, but I have been working at Sam's office filling in for our receptionist while she is recovering from surgery on her hand.

I haven't really enjoyed it.  Lots of little things to remember, trying to put people in the schedule where there is no time, asking people for money, posting payments.  Not being available to help out in Maren's class, exercise, going to the stores during the day, or being home when my kids come home from school.  I'm exhausted when I get home and there is a house to put back together, dinner to get ready, and activities to get to.  Boy, I have a new respect  for you mom's who work all day.  Kudos to you!

Looking forward for the return of Danette.
