Of course there are the traditional things that happen at Easter as well. Our community had an Easter egg hunt on Saturday. We woke to 2 inches of snow, therefore could not have it at the park. So they had us go to a school gym down the street. When we walked in, there was candy all over the gym floor. It was hilarious. The girls ran and grabbed as much candy as they could, took a picture with the Easter bunny, and we went home.
Sunday morning we got up and left at 9:00 to go to Burlington, WY to visit Sam's two sisters and to attend one of their churches. We brought one of Sam's employee's and her son with us because she didn't have anywhere to spend Easter. I told her if she thought she could handle us, she is more than welcome to come. It was a great day. The meetings were wonderful, the spirit was strong. After church, we went to Dana and Tony's to have a wonderful dinner and a little Easter egg hunt with the cousins. They had a fun time and enjoyed each others company.
Jackson was finding all the high eggs. On the rooftops and in the trees.
Aliza was fast in finding many of the more hidden eggs, even though this one was in plain sight.
Maren was glad she was finally in the big kid section instead of the smaller kid one. She loved finding all the eggs. She found the last one which was on top of the shed door.
