What an awesome husband I have!!!!!!!!!
We weren't going to have a big to do this year for our 15Th anniversary; we supposedly celebrated it earlier this year in MEXICO (click on Mexico to see post). But, my husband decided to surprise me and take me on a little get-a-way. I knew we were going somewhere, but I DIDN'T know.............
that he had borrowed a convertible from one of his patients to go driving through Yellowstone Nat. Park to Jackson, WY. This has been one of my dreams for a very long time. I looked into this a few years ago, but wouldn't you know,Billings does not rent convertibles. Crazy I know. Anyway, what an awesome trip. We drove through sun, rain, dark, snow and ENJOYED EVERY MINUTE OF IT!!!!!...because the top was down:):):).
We went through Cody, and ran into a fire that was started as a back burn to help stop another fire that has been burning most of the summer. The fire was right off the road. We felt its heat and smelt like smoke....due to the top being down:) :) :).
On The way home, we went through the Cook City entrance. This took a bit longer due to rainy weather and a buffalo that thought he had every right to be on the road as if he was one of the cars. He didn't budge too much. I took some good pictures...due to the top being down:) :) :).So I say to my husband of 15 years........
THANK YOU FOR A WONDERFUL WEEKEND!!!
I LOVE YOU

what a fun trip!! did your hair get messed up due to the top being down? hee-hee! You are the cutest - loved you post.
How fun! I haven't been to Jackson in a long time! I'm glad Sam surprised you with a convertible and Jackson. You two are cute with your little get aways. I love the picture of the buffalo with the camper in the background. So Yellowstone!
Congratulations on your 15th anniversary. You are so smart to be making so many great memories. Life is such an adventure! Ken and I have a photo of our 15th anniversary... it is an old fashioned photo in an oval frame with bubble glass and we are dressed like in the 1800's. We were in Deadwood South Dakota... A fun memory for us.
Way to go, Sam. Setting the bar high again. Sounds like a dream getaway! Glad you had so much fun. . . with the top down!
Becca,
How fun! Congratulations on 15 years. I'm glad you got to go and do that.
What a fun weekend. Almost as fun sounding as when my sweetheart took me to Sun Valley and I didn't know it until we were on our way out of Boise. Of course, we didn't have a convertible "With the Top Down!:) :)
