O.K., O.K., O.K.
You know the other day, first snow of the season??? Well, it continued to snow, and snow, and snow. Dana (Sam's sister) and Tony and their four kids came up Friday night to be there for a session at the temple (which they didn't get to) and Karissa's baptism on Saturday. Clint and Amy's three girls came over to spend the night as well for a big sleep over (7 girls, yikes). We awoke to lots and lots of snow, the kids were getting gear on to go out and play, 7:30a.m. I insisted they get a good breakfast first, then they could go out.
Believe it or not, we had enough snow pants, boots, gloves, coats, hats, etc. to outfit 8 girls, ranging from 2-11 years of age, Jackson and Sammy. It took a while to get everything found and put together, thinking the whole time, "Watch them get out there and come back in after 10 min." Well, they got out there at 8:30, came back in at 11:30, ate lunch, then went back out until 4:00. They had a BLAST!
The Best Snowball Snow!!!
The Best Snowball Snow!!!
Saturday, October 11th
What started into making snowmen, turned into making a fort with our trampoline.
To keep Sammy occupied from "BUGGING" the other kids, Sam suggested making the biggest snowball.
It got too big for him to push by himself, so he begged Sam and Tony to come out and help. Where's Sammy??
It couldn't be pushed anymore, and ended up in the front part of our yard. Big as can be. They had to get a ladder to climb on top.
In the mean time, the kids continued on the fort.........Paige, Madison, Karissa
Aliza, Maren
Callin, Kyla
Sunday, October 12thA "few" more inches fell during the night and church was ALMOST cancelled. We only had Sacrament meeting. Most the ward couldn't get out of their driveways. We, however, were able to get out because of our truck. Kelli and Mike (came up Sat. afternoon), Dana and Tony, however, couldn't, so we took a couple of trips to church that day.

If I didn't live here myself, I never would have believed it! This snow is AMAZING!
Oh my goodness! I thought our snow was ridiculous! The kids look like they are having the time of their lives! My kids sure wish they were there. They were able to take a few runs on the sled, but no snowman and not even close to a 10 foot snow ball! That is amazing and I'm glad Sam and Tony were good sports and helped out.
Wow! That snow is amazing. Lucky for you guys I'm sure you need the moisture. The kids look like they are enjoying themselves so much. We wished we could have come up for Karissa and her special day, but we will see you in November.
WOW!! This snow down here in Buffalo doesn't even compare, we only got about 5 inches or so! The kids look like they had an awesome time! It is so fun having cousins! I remember once when church was cancelled because of snow, so was school the next couple of days, it seemed like we were stuck on the farm FOREVER, even the trucks couldn't get out!
That is some crazy snow. You can send some down this way we would love to take some from you. Enjoy it for us.

Wow! What awesome pictures & a beautiful snow storm! I love the days where everything gets shaken up a little bit by nature. I'm glad you all just embraced it! I'm not surprised you had enough gear to outfit that many people though! Wow!
