Tonight was primary activities night. Daddy/Daughter night. Every dad and daughter was supposed to dress up in the same type of theme. There were many different kinds of themes, baker/gingerbread man, egg/bacon, Frankenstein/his bride, 4 football players/coach(Clint & 3 daughters and neighbor), rodeo clowns(I think), men in black, Red Riding Hood/Wolf/Granny...etc....,
After I mentioned my great idea (jailbirds w/ ball and chain), Sam came up with Fred Astaire & Ginger Rodgers. What a wonderful idea! Aliza LOVES to dance with her dad.
They had such a wonderful time, eating dinner, playing games, and dancing to the freeze game.

that is a great idea! I bet they were the best dressed there. And I love her shoes - Abby has those and wouldn't leave the store without them. I wish our ward did this!
How cute!! I bet they had such a wonderful time. Aliza looks beautiful. What a wonderful time and great memory.
WoW! I got more info about the night than I did from Jerry! We've been so busy-he still hasn't told me about it. Sarah loved the dancing--and yes you were right--they were rodeo clowns!
They look awesome! It looks like you went with the real tuxedo instead of the Walmart special. Looks like fun!
Looks like they had a great night! And if Aliza didn't know who Fred Astaire & Ginger Rogers were before - she does now, and she a great job! Sam looks pretty good too. I wish his tux had tails but - oh well, I guess.
How special! I love dancing with my dad!! Aliza is just as beautiful as Ginger Rogers and Sam definitely puts Fred Astaire to shame (if only he had the same hair-do j/k)!!
Wow! They look darling! Sam is such a fun dad & Aliza is one fun daughter that's for sure.
what a fun activity. they look great and look like they had a blast
Wow, I can only imagine how much fun Aliza had dressing up and going to a party with her handsome father and great dance partner. Thank you for sharing the memory and the pictures!
I'm so glad to see Daddy/Daughter night is back. What a precious memory.
It really is neat to see our church making opportunities to have parents, especially fathers, spend fun and clean activity time with their children. Sam, you look awesome in your suit! Aliza, you make a very beautiful Ginger Rogers, too. It looks like everyone there had a wonderful time. Rebecca, do you remember Daddy/Daughter activities with your dad?
