For a stake youth activity tonight, the kids had to dress up as their favorite Prophet. Now that was a hard one. Sam, Sammy and I put our heads together, and came up with "past and present Prophets linked with the priesthood" (notice the RED tie (general authority style) and staff with a snake). Sammy called himself Moses B. Hinkley. If you look close, you can see some white it his hair (Flour):)He was the only one with some sort of suit and tie. Either the kids were olden day prophets, or not dressed at all. I thought Sammy looked awesome! He even won some candy for reciting the most scripture mastery.
I'm grateful for the youth program and our leaders for being so great with our children, and helping them learn, while having good, clean, fun!!!!

Lookin Good Sammy. I think I like Samuel V. Pollock for a prophets name don't you think that sounds nice? Way to go on reciting the scripture mastery, maybe you and grandpa should get together and have a tournament!
Sammy looks very much like a prophet in the picture. One just has to separate the upper and lower and you have past and present! When I need somethng creative, I will definitely call on Rebecca, Sam, and Sammy!!
What a great kid!
Sammy, you're awesome! Love the outfit!
It must be so much fun to have Sammy in your family. He must make sure that there is not a single dull moment at home. As I was listening to Elder Mullikin speak today I was holding Owen on my lap and thinking it wouldn't be long before he will be going on a mission. Then I thought of you, because you guys were sitting behind us, and thought it REALLY won't be long before Sammy and Jackson are on their way as well. I'm sure Sammy's companions will enjoy his great sense of humor.
Lookin' Good!! I'm with Meg. Samuel V. Pollock sounds good to me too!!
Sammy, You have a regal look about you! You do look very prophetic. I'm proud that you care enough about the scriptures to memorize them as requested by the true and living prophet. You have a special spirit about you. I know from my time spent as a seminary teacher that it is the students with the greatest love for the scriptures and for the program of the church who take the time to memorize the verses!! I love you.
